Infohrm invites you to participate in the 2009 National Benchmarking Study
Do you know how your key talent retention compares to other organisations? How do your revenue and expenses weigh up against your competitors? Are you building enough internal talent? If you are unable to answer these questions you are exposing your business to unnecessary risk. Being able to access statistical interpretive information that compares your workforce performance to other organisations is essential in today’s competitive market.
Register now to join this valuable study and receive an insightful interpretation of how your organisation compares to others. Or click here (PDF, 41KB) for further information.

Date and time: 23 October 2008 at 10am BST
Duration: approx 1 hour
Read more about Infohrm's Web Conferences
Workforce planning is a process that examines both the external and internal environments to identify the critical workforce requirements for business to achieve its strategic objectives. Effective workforce planning incorporates many elements of traditional strategic planning, namely determining how to forecast scenarios on potential business opportunities and aligning a business to successfully take advantage of such scenarios. This web conference will focus on how to account for, and prepare for, unpredictability in a business environment through the development of scenarios, then focus on techniques for calculating the future workforce demand in terms of both numbers and capabilities in regards to the scenarios.
Effective scenario planning allows managers to consider the advantages of building flexibility into their operations, e.g. designing facilities that can be used in different ways, training staff for broad range tasks, and developing strategies that have the flexibility to take advantage of new opportunities and deal with unexpected crises. The web conference will teach participants how to use internal and external environmental information to focus on those elements most critical to the future of the organization in terms of human capital needs as well as provide examples of scenarios used by companies in a variety of industries.
Peter Howes, CEO of the Infohrm Group, will discuss the value of workforce planning, how to develop scenarios and some example of plans in a free web conference at 10.00am on Thursday 23rd October, 2008.
